Conference Announcement

To promote academic exchange on the transformation and innovation of achievements in the foundational fields of low-carbon new materials, advanced manufacturing, and healthy sustainable development, Chengdu University, the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM), and the Swedish Institute of Advanced Materials are jointly hosting the International Conference on Translational Research and Innovation (ICTRI 2024)- special focus on Low-carbon Novel Materials on November 19, 2024, at Chengdu University. The conference focuses on the theme of "Low Carbon Materials, Advanced Manufacturing, and Healthy Sustainable Development." This event builds upon the strategic cooperation agreement signed between Chengdu University and IAAM in 2019, as well as the planning goals of the IAAM 2030 Agenda for Scientific Research and Translational Innovation in the fields of energy and health. From 2021 to 2023, Chengdu University and IAAM successfully hosted three International Conferences on Translational Research and Innovation, providing a broad platform for researchers from universities and research institutions both domestically and internationally. The conference encourages international experts in, but not limited to, fields such as materials science, nanotechnology, biomedical engineering, energy and environmental science, advanced manufacturing, and artificial intelligence to participate and engage in academic exchanges. The aim is to promote friendly cooperation among countries, establish mutually beneficial relationships, and serve as a catalyst for successful translational research and technological innovation. The organizing committee warmly welcomes researchers from universities, research institutes, and related fields at home and abroad to actively submit papers and attend the conference. Relevant enterprises and organizations are also invited to participate and showcase research achievements and products.

5. Conference Format

1. The conference will be held in a hybrid format (both online and in-person). Experts and scholars can participate in online academic presentations and discussions through virtual meeting rooms.

2. The official language of the conference is English. The sessions will include keynote presentations, invited talks, student presentations, online poster displays, and written exchanges (conference papers). 6. Call for Reports and Posts

1. The conference invites academic reports and papers from experts and scholars in related fields that align with the conference themes.

2. An ICTRI Conference Handbook will be produced, including abstracts of reports, and posters. Authors giving presentations should submit a biography along with their receipt. Those submitting posters should send titles and abstracts to the organizing committee in a timely manner. Templates for report abstracts and posters can be downloaded from https://ictri2024.scievent.com/.

3. To encourage young scholars, especially graduate students, to participate in academic exchanges, awards for Outstanding Presentations and Outstanding Posters will be presented, with certificates granted to the winners.

  Online Participation:
